ABOUT
I Built APRIS® Because I Needed It.
A few years ago, I moved abroad with my then-partner and my young son. It was supposed to be the start of a new and wonderful life. It was nothing short of a nightmare. The relationship was emotionally abusive - from him, and from his mother. Just a few months after the move, I'd lost a healthy pregnancy at five months. Four days after the evacuation, he ended the relationship. My young son and I were seven thousand miles from family, friends, and the life I'd built at home. Due to the country's laws around single parents travelling with children, we spent ten months unable to leave. When we finally got home, I was deep in survival mode. I was diagnosed with CPTSD shortly after returning. The first year back, I had three breakdowns. I started somatic therapy. Slowly, I started to come back to myself.
APRIS® comes from that ground. It was built in the rebuild - not as a way to process what happened, but as a way to find out who I was again and who I was becoming, and to build a business that fit her.
I tried to rebuild. I had my son to raise. I needed to earn. I started freelancing again - picking up work that was interesting, meaningful, sometimes well-paid. But I'd lost the version of me that used to run on the corporate treadmill, and I had no interest in finding her again. What I didn't have was a way back to the version of me that fit. I didn't know who I was at that point. I knew who I'd been before, who I'd been with him, who I'd been in survival. I didn't know who I was now.
I looked for the tool. I looked at personality tests, at frameworks, at coaches, at the spiritual end of the market, at the corporate end of it. None of them were built for what I actually needed - a working diagnostic that could give me a baseline of who I am now, not a label, not a vibe, not a personality archetype dressed up in business language. I needed something rigorous enough to be useful and personal enough to be true. It didn't exist. So I built it.
APRIS® is the tool I needed when I had no idea where to turn or who I was anymore. It's a diagnostic that maps how you actually think, decide, and operate; your core blueprint - and turns that into a working basis for the decisions you have to make next. It was designed first for women like me: founders, mothers, people who've rebuilt at least once, who are carrying real lives alongside the work, and who are done with strategy that was built for someone else.
I built APRIS® in 10–15 hours a week, alongside parenting and a day job. APRIS® had to work within the circumstances I was building from, because anything that didn't would have collapsed before it could become anything. The product is what it is because of that ground, not in spite of it. And if you're building from constraint too, you'll feel it in how the work is shaped.
"I built the tool I needed when I didn't know who I was anymore. I needed a strategy built around me, not someone else."
WHAT I KNOW NOW
Four Things I'd Defend in Any Room.
The operator is the one variable strategy can't swap out. Most growth advice assumes a generic founder. There isn't one. The work has to be built around the person actually running it — or it fails on contact with real life.
Constraint isn't the enemy of strategy. It's the only honest test of it. Anything that only works when you have unlimited time and energy isn't a strategy. It's a wish list. Real strategy fits YOU.
When you rebuild from scratch, you only add back what fits. That's the principle APRIS® is built on. It isn't about adding more — it's about mapping what's yours, and discarding what isn't.
The women APRIS® is for aren't broken or behind. They're already carrying a lot - business, family, the full weight of an adult life. They don't need more strategy added on top. They need a diagnostic that shows them what they're already working with, so they can stop spending capacity on the things that were never theirs.
